I think it was missed opportunity, when original sprites where made, that some system for color switching was not made (hair, elements of clothes).

Look for Baldurs Gate sprites, for example.

We have no plans currently do add any form of customization to the character model and this is unlikely to change. As other have pointed out, the game uses pre-rendered graphics and the way we handle sprites requires every armor-weapon combination to be rendered for every animation. Adding another variable there (such as skin or hair color) would increase the number of combinations substantially.

So other than adding new visual armor types, we're unlikely to add new variables unless they'll provide some gameplay benefit in addition to the aesthetics.

But can we have option to switch to other 2d sprites for unexplicable reason?

I know you are really busy with new expansion but , that would be nice feature if we could see new hair and skin color selection for basic models :)

Also after checked Suggestions sub-forum , it seems one of threads got most of the views . So I am thinking people really want to see it in game . Please consider it again :(

If you had a Diablo 2 style sprite-composition system where weapons and armor are all separate sprites, it would be easy to have something like this, maybe they'll consider such a system for Underrail 2?
