DC Psimorphic Biocide Grenade (spoiler alert)

Hi everyone!

I have a trouble in DC in a lategame: I killed pulsating roots in mushrooms forest, got Mycokardia, but still got no idea how to proceed it to Psimorphic Biocide Grenade. How does my character must know it? I thought it might be somehow related to "witnessing of gates", so I went there, but nope - it didn't help.

No blueprint, no any single hint from "eggheads's" computers in residential, nothing. Maybe I missed something?
Wiki and forum are a bit shady about it (I understand this "keep the mystery" policy, btw), I'll be very appretiate for any help or direction!

inb4: I normally have talk with Six after DC elevator from Uni, can't remember anything about grenades from what he was talking; this is my first run of the game, so excuse me if my question seems stupid.

Have you met a certain old man already? If I remember correctly he does have a hint regarding what to do with mycokardia.

Have you scouted the battleground?

There is a certain spot (that needs power) that can complete the task (and, doesn't involve killing ghosts....)
