Where did I get this code? (Research Facility 2nd level, include spoilers)

In the second level of the Research Facility, I walked through the ventilation ducts, to the central server room. I expected to have the opportunity to hack the security computer, but instead was offered to type in the code '# 87ac8x0'

I have no clue where this code is coming from... Any hints, for the sake of my complete understanding?

You are supposed to get this code (among a few others) during a different quest, but I've just found a glitch due to which it gets displayed when it shouldn't. Fixed for the next patch.
