Bugs / Error - Failed to load saved came

Seems like it hit me.

Its the auto-saves - the prior self-saves seem okay.

I've done the standard reboot several times, un\re-install, and check my settings.

Beyond sucking it up, any suggestions for recovery? Its not a Linux box.

General / How does Chester and Water Treatment Plant REALLY work?

All,

Trying another playthru, with the current update (pretty good so far...), and I got the dead body of the girl found in Mushroom Cave, Spoke to Malcom, and made my way to Junkyard to find the drill part.

I found the WTP, the ring with JR, then found chester at the bar. He just says 'go away'.

Is there a specific way to trigger him 'correctly' for it to play out, or is it bugged?

General / Core City location near your house and Puzzle

Hello all,

current play-thru, searching by your future home, the building on the right has a lock and a small building. Searching, I found the attached.

I figure, it has to do with the small 'talking' maint bot in another room, but I've tried the puzzle, and zilch.


Anybody else seen this?

General / End cut scenes for Expedition

I 'seem" to have finished Expedition, but have not seen the ending cut scenes and credits

I've made it back to Core City, but can't trigger the ending.

Any ideas what I've done wrong?

General / New update - vendors not updating their stocks

Been playing ~20 for a bit, on a re-play, and it seems that Core City vendors arn't updating their stock to sell. I've played thru many of its quests, and, the inventory looks the same.

I've checked Foundry, RRC, even SGS, and even their stocks change very little.

Ideas?

Any Idea how to fix this? I asked Dan about Gorski, and to join me killing the beast, but never got the info on Kevin's sideline business. Any ideas how to get it?

My Mercantile skill is more than 30, but never saw the dialog about Kevin's barters
