Bugs / [1.0.3.20] Protectorate weapon possession hostility, Fort Apogee

So, you are be able to carry weapons inside Fort Apogee after you got accepted.

Everywhere except the office of Fort Apogee. If you do have weapons in the office, they will try to kill you.

Any weapon BUT COMBAT GLOVES. Oh yes, you can use that.
They are also fine as long as weapon is in other hand.
But not grenades. If you have grenades in your pocket, you will be shot.

May I ask for some consistency here? What exactly can or can't I carry where in this fortress?

tl;dr weapon possession hostility in Fort Apogee seems to be a mess, especially in office.

General / Arena nickname - how do I get "Apparition"?

So, I think I do not know how this "Restealth" thing work.

I am keep getting spine splitter as my title - which is one of default kill name.

So far, restealth is not:

1. Incapacitate enemy and then stealth. (did this at least 5 times. Doesn't work.)

2. Pinning the enemy with the net, then stealth. run around until awareness runs out. (at least 2 times)

3. Stealth, then run around arena using the psi ability (psi wall and such)and traps to block enemy movement.(only once. This was difficult and time consuming)

Edit: 4. Neurovisual Disruption.

Yeah, none of those method seems to be working with current version of 1.0.3.20.
Is wiki outdated or am I doing something wrong?

Hello. This is Reinhark.

For whatever reason I have created a .jar file for reading dialogue files.

This also collects lots of other nonsense mumbo-jumbo. But it still works like 50% of the time, but I think copy-paste feature, as well as not having to look at garbled txt file is worth it.

I hope this assist you in lore digging, translating and etc.


                                 
    == How to use ==

Open .jar file.

Open the dialogue file in underrail. It is located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Underrail\Data\Dialogs\Characters" for steam.
(making shortcut of this location in "my documents" is recommended.)

Press "Next dialogue" button to see if the file has been completely read and has next(if any) dialogue.

This file is extensively meant to be used as dialogue and interactable file reader. it won't work much with any other files.

[Display types](1.1.0 and onward)
Filtered(default): It is filtered "Raw" dialogue.
Player character response: It is your response.
Raw : Raw read of NPC dialogues. May contain nonsense.

[Save detected dialogue](1.1.3 and onward)
It will be saced as a text file named "[filename]_Cut_Dialogue.txt" where [filename] is same as the dialogue file you open.
It will be saved
Hopefully this will make reading and finding certain dialogue(with text editor ctrl+f) easier.

Accuracy ~90%? (Just waiting for future bugs to knock down this number a notch)
Fixed the error: dialogues being ignored if NPC has lots of things to say, like core city barkeep.(thank you 12 for bring attention to this issue)
Button that allows skip 5 dialogues per click added.(thank you again 12)
Now has saving function to save detected dialogue en mass.

Accuracy ~70%? (now it works properly)
Now it can read interactable files.
Now it can display the character response.
Set filtered dialogue display as default, since filtering is deemed perfected.

[Current known issues]
Short character response(shorter than 5 characters) will be ignored and cuase further problems. This is part of the design.

Suggestions / Bullet count of your equipped gun when shift is pressed

Currently, if you press shift while have a gun as a primary weapon, it displays green bullet list and full reload button.

Can it also display # of bullets in your inventory in the reload button? Thank you.

General / Anyone know what triggers Dan's dialogue about Gorsky?

Yeah. Just as it says on the title.

I did talk with Dan(Foundry guard. Wants to shoot something.) about it several patches ago. About 2 playthroughs ago...

Now I cannot trigger it. Or is it something that has to do with importing character?

Note that I am playing a same character for a 3rd time using import. I was able to trigger this dialogue the first time, now I cannot do that.(i couldn't trigger on 2nd, and 3rd playthrough)

My hypothesis is that this *flag* is carried through somehow when importing the character... But just to make sure: Does anyone know how to trigger this dialogue?

Bugs / [1.0.1.10] Dismantled Materials for metal armor drops

I will say all material qualities for the primary materials(I mean the base metal used for the armor, as well as vests) for metal armors are fine.
Quality reflects the difficulty, and etc.

Secondary, additional materials(additional plating, serrated blades and spikes) from disassembling metal armor drops are rubbish.
They are always quality 1.

Unsure if intended...

Bugs / [1.0.1.10]crafting requirements Combat glove crafting

To be more specific, with leather + metal parts.

For example, I want to make a rathound leather combat glove with Tichrome spikes in it.

I.e:
Quality 100 rathound leather : base tailoring requirement 80

Quality 100 Tichrome spikes : base mechanical requirement 80

Put those two together:
tailoring requirement 80
mechanical requirement 88!!

Unsure if it is intended... I need more mechanical skill than the base mechanical requirement?
I could switch out leather and put quality 100 metal(which also base mechanical requirement 80 ) with this requirement...

Just as the title says. When you use Electrokinesis on the gangster who right next to stealthed gangster, the game will crash.

It does not matter if you notice this guy(as in, notice his stealth) when electrokinesis anyone near him.

I use electrokinesis a lot, and this is the first time that this ability caused crash. The crash just might be for this specific target only.

The screenshot below is taken at the site of the crash(Core city, drop zone where all foreigners are). It happens when I target top guy beside the barrel with electrokinesis.

The said quest, when done via asking Ezra causes you to not get oddity exp(1) compared to vanilla path. Unsure if it is intended.

Suggestions / Sorted crafting UI?

At the moment, there are approximately about 50ish possible craftable options, but it is all inside a small window only sorted by alphabetic order.

I would like to see them somehow sorted by category. Much like how it is sorted in wiki:

(All quest names are from Wiki.)

1. In the quest "Meet Lenox Pierce", Spectral insignia does not get taken by Lenox. It stays in your inventory, you can present it to him infinite times.

2. In the quest "Find missing combat unit in west wing", Mediant Samuel does not take your Mateo's head.(like any sensible person. then again, one of the Oligarchy did.)

3. In the quest "Meet Ohad Xander", Hercules Test Results stays in your inventory in the optimal solution.

Dialogues:

1. One of the dialogue path of "Saban"(Foundary guard, sole survivor from the Beast assault) has shadowy face with name "Unknown" instead of correct name and face.

2. If you finish the one of the "Free drones" quest(the unnamed), the dialogue after "SRO assault" will also feature dialogue with "Unknown".
