Suggestions / Crossbows should be changed to be a good Main Weapon

Hello,

i think crossbows should be changed so they can Perform as a good Main Weapon like Melee, Guns etc...Reason is you need a Extra Skill you must invest to use them.

In my opinion:

Pistols, Grenades and Throwing knifes should be a secondary Weapon but not Crossbows.

What do you think?

General / Found a new Trader [Lost Vault Trader]

Hello,

I Explored a bit and found a new Trader the "Lost Vault Trader". You can sneak there in a Building and open a small Vault with some random loot. A nice Place far away from all Civilian Live surrounded by water. The NPCs was LVL 20 and there was two of them. One Guard and one Merchant.

You can found them North, North, North East from Miltons Camp. East from the first "River".

You need TNT!

do you maybe Plan a DLC or something like that to realese North and maybe (east and west if east and west exists) underrail? Would be Interesting for me go to North Underrail and the United Stations World. To Explore, read new Storys and get involved in the conflict between the Protectorate-US alliance and the Free Drones.

Would be too Intesting to get some Infos about the lifes in East and West Underrail. Would also be interesting if a Underrail world would exist where people live in wilderness (caves, mushroom coves etc...). In Clans and tribes organized, also more primitive.

The Underrail World have a Big Potencial for Expansions. The game really excites the imagination and and the graphics do not care, because the best like a book anyway happening in my head. It's a long time since I was so impressed with a game.

All these so-called MMORPGs are absolute junk to the ingenuity, quality and depth of this jewel.

Suggestions / Eviscerate and Pummel

Hello,

i think that these both Feats needs some Balance.

1) Pummel should have a Damage from 25% and a Hitchance from 125-150% so that this feat have a good chance to Land and do his Job. With a cooldown from 3 Turns it realy should hit most of the time you use it.

I mean you use them against targets with heavy dodge (not evasion standard like) and with high dodge this special attack fails to often.

In a cooperative Gameplay it maybe good. Attack a target reduce evasion and you Teamplayer shots, or with a Hybrid Character Melee and Guns/Crossbows. But atm this feat is mah...

2) Eviscerate i think is a bit counterproductive if you go for bleeding Wounds.

With Bleeding wounds you go most for "Taste for Blood" and "Vile Weaponry". The Bleeding Wound counters you need for both especielly for Taste for Blood (i think after the Infected Counters appears he needs no more the Bleeding counters but im not 100% sure).

After my Experiences you get with High DEX around 2-4 most 3 bleeding wounds in a normal fight. Thats 200-250% Damage for Eviscerate. Its counterproductive remove the Bleeding wounds and weak Taste for Blood feat, maybe as a finisher so this MOB dont survive this round and cann attack you.

But better would be change that Feat so he works together with the other Feats, or give him a Stun effect for maybe 1 Turn or for every Bleeding wound on the target. So if the Target survives its stuned.

The other feats i can test are Well Balanced in my opinion.

Hello,

i love the Crafting and Hunting in that Game, but there was no real huntig Grounds out there. What i found cool would be some Big Areas isolated somewhere with Dangerous Wildlife.

Maybe a forgotten Village with People living there. A village from which no one facing something that deposited there life. With some Story driven Quests. Can be a good side story.

Yeah i know it sounds familiar to camp Hathor but there was no real dangerous Wildlife besides the Burrower Quest.

Hello,

i thought about a idea to the Skill System. Player should become some Bonis if the Focus on Skills.

What i mean after Players reach Goal in Skill Points (Base Skills not effective Skill Points) they should become some Bonuses.

E.g.:

Stealth 50: Deflection = Cameras/Robots needs 50% more time to detect the Player
Stealth 100: near unvisible = one time in a battle you can restealth without loose move and action points
Stealth 150: True Shadow = You can do one attack without  loosing Stealth mode

That would make it interesting Focus your Character to high Skill Levels

General / Melee Stealth Knife/dagger Focused Build

Hello,

i work atm on a Melee Melee Stealth Knife/dagger Focused Build. Sledge Hammer Focused Build i tryd bevore and found it not so interesting. I plan to use Throwing Knifes and grenades too.

My Stats are:

STR: 8 (so i can use Sledges against Metal Armored targets if my knife fails)
DEX: 8 (later 10)
AGY: 8 (later 10)
CON: 5
PER: 4 (googles+1 and Snooping to detect all Secrets ingame)
WIL: 3
INT:4 (later 6 for Crafting not feats only +in Skillpoints)

Feats:

Starting: Snooping, Sprint

later: Opportunist, Recklessness, Hit and Run, Vile Weaponry, Crippling Strike, Cheap Shots, Expose Weaknesses, Taste of Blood, Cut Throat, Blitz, Critical Power, Eviscerate, Expertise

thats one Feat to much so i must spare one hard to choose...^^

So whats your Thoughts about it?

Hello,

i have a Diskussion about Heavy Melee Builds (Sledge Hammer and Netal Amor) in a other Thread and get an Idea through that Posts. A Problem of that Build is often to less MovePoints for the Big Armor Penalty.

What do you think about give STR another Side Effect?

-5% Armor Penalty for every STR Point over the requirements that the Armor needs. Metal armor needs 8 STR and if the player have e.g 12 STR this should reduce Armor Penalty -20% summary.

General / Heavy Melee Build unplayabel with Heavy Armor?

Hello,

i started a Heavy Melee Build, a Character with a Sledge Hammer and Metal Armor. 10 STR, 7(10) DEX, 8(10) Constitution, 3 Perception, 3 Agility, 4 Willpower, 5(6) Intelligence. (means how i set the upcoming Attribut Points)

I found it very annoing for the reason i must run to opponents and lost much Action Points for my low Move Points. As far a i can say a Sledge Hammer Build with a Metal Armor is:

a) the weakest ingame build ever

b) maybe unplayable

c) the most time-consuming Build (fights i mean)

With a Tactical Vest or Riot Armor and more agility for movement points its possible, but you need then evade and dodge. Otherwise you run more then you Sledge anything. But even with that i think a sledgehammer Build is are weaker then all other Builds and need Balance.

Stealth Knife Builds are ok but atm the Ranged Builds are by far Stronger. To Bad i found it interesting to play a Melee Build.

Hello,

i have a Idea about Item Quality and the crafting system. I dislike the actual random level of Quality. Crafting means for me "do it yourself" not hope for a random Loot or searching for Merchants and have a lucky day. I think that the player should be able improve the Quality from Components depending on the Skilllevel.

I would change it so that Merchants ALLWAYS sell low Quality level Components and drops from high Quality Objects should be realy rare. Good enough for beginners to craft something, BUT the high Quality stuff should only be avaible for Players with a High skilllevel. This makes crafting and crafting skills more Important and Build something depends on Skills not on Lucky drops or endless shopping.

I would change Biology too so that with Higher Biology skills you become more and better Components from Hunting (wisdom how to remove organs and Fur safety), farming Plants and Extract them (more efficient in extracting depending on skilllevel).

I love that RPG game for the reason it have a Focus on skills. You changed the merchants in a way i love, its RPG like that you cant sell all your crap to Merchants.

Also, a good idea would be to remove dissembling as fat and instead to allow as free capacity. Whether I can disassemble an item should depend on my skill level.

Suggestions / Beast Head from Foundry

Hello,

i thought it would a nice idea make the Beast head a Item you can give to the Furnace for a set of Super Steel. Dont know what is fair here 1-3 or maybe 1 but with max Quality? Dont know.

Maybe its too a cool Idea implement a Private House for the Player and more such Miscs that he can Place in the House on e.g Walls like Trophys. So you can see what your "Hero" all have done in the Past and the Game Progress. Maybe a extra Stage in SGS and for ever Main Quest done you got more rooms and stuff.

Suggestions / Dissambling

Hello,

i think atm Dissambling is not worth the Feat for 2 reasosns:

1) you need Intelligence 7

2) with enough cash i can buy all non Quality items easy without any Problems in shops and found them in loot. The Quality Items after you reached a High level under 100-110+ are not worth to use. And i think that you get never or only rare such High Quality from dissambling. Its easier to buy or loot them.

So thats atm more a Low level Spare cash Feat and for that 7 Intelligence are to high in my opinion, maybe 4-5 was ok.
One + for beginners is too that you can dissamble and sell the parts, but even that is hard with the new Economic. Its better spare the Feat slot for a other Feat you need more.

I found it by far better that you need the skills the Item is made from for dissambling and with higher skills the quality is better and you get more parts of it. THAT would be more Interesting for the reason that dissambling "Levels" with your skills up.

Im Wrong? Or missunderstud something?

Hello, i sneaked in the forbidden Laboratory and found some crazy creature called "Rejected" and one Old Rejected. I opened the Cells with the Terminal and talked a bit with the old one and set him free. The Tschort makes Experiments with that poor Creatures. My Question is now is that "Quest" done? See i them again and whats the consequences of that?

as in the Subject writen...you realy should add a Teleport that kicks you out of Tschort.^^

Whatever, can i let my character there and play after the game is Updated with my savegame further? Or must i restart for the Updates (new Stuff and or savegame incompatibility)?
