Title: Peculiar trading anomaly
Post by: Blaine on December 20, 2015, 01:29:56 am
Value of the merchant's batteries is 1450, value of my offered credits is 1450, but I can't press "Trade" unless I offer one more credit. Rounding error? Note: This is Old Jonas with the discount for taking no reward after finding his watch, might have something to do with it.

this has to do with your merchantile skill, since it can alter prices to a value that is shown rounded but actually is lower/higher than the shown value, thus you have to give him one more credit.

This should just explain why its happening, ofcourse it shouldnt be, so lets hope for a fix ;)

Could you save me some time and upload the save for me to check out that particular situation?

Sure. I happen to still have a save from very shortly after I went on that shopping trip.

Edit: Wrong save, here's the correct one: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B79A4QtWqedIRXJxSGZJX1FZZkk/view?usp=sharing

Sorry for necroposting, but I happened to stumble upon this issue too. I don't have a relevant save, but this was happening to me when I had 15 effective Mercantile. My base ability scores were: S=5, D=7, A=6(7), C=4, P=8, W=5, I=7. Effective Persuasion was at 26. Was playing 1.0.2.4
